Exams 080305 graded

I finished grading the exams. You can see the results at the Wailing Wall (anslagstavlan). Werba Wolant details

About what to hand in for the final mandatory exercise: Just like for the previous exercise I need a print-out of your code in the course mailbox. There is a cover page (“cover2.pdf”) in the course home folder. I also need running code, and you have to tell me (on the cover page) which URL you are using. I strongly suggest that you use the course web server (“elevmac”) for this, just like for the rest of the course. Because when that server is down, it’s our fault. If you choose to host your wiki on some other server (maybe even your own!) then it’s your responsibility that the server actually runs. I’m not going to call you to ask you to turn on your machine!

Assistants

Form

The course consists of lectures (2 hours, twice per week), mandatory labs at the departmental computers (2 hours, twice per week), and three larger projetcs. There is an exam at the end.
Lab sessions
There are two lab sessions every week. Each lab session takes two full hours, presumably Wednesdays 13-15 and Fridays 10-12. (By the way, that means 13.00, not 13.15.) You will be working in pairs, two students per machine. It is expected that you finish the lab on time (most labs require some praparation, like doing specific exercises in the book beforehand). If you don't finish (and not everybody will) or are otherwise unable to demonstrate your solution to the lab assistant before the lab session is over, please show it to him next Wednesday 15--16.
Projects
The projects are individual.
Exam form
There is a written 5-hour exam at the end of the course.
