Cheating, disruption and harassment

The Department of Computer Science follows Lund University's central regulations regarding cheating, disruption and harassment.

Cheating, disruption and harassment (Lund University's website)

In addition to the central regulations, the Department of Computer Science has the following specific additions:

  • It is not permitted to publish or make solutions available, e.g. through public git repositories. This is considered to be an encouragement to cheating.
  • When working in groups, the responsible teacher decides on the group division and any changes to it. The work must be carried out by those who are part of the group and all group members must participate in the work. The rules for group work apply to all compulsory elements that are carried out in groups, i.e. also laboratory work and project work.
  • Help from others with the use of equipment, computer systems and given computer programmes does not need to be reported.

Contact the responsible teacher if you are unsure about what is permitted and what is not.
